Hello Guys, and thanks you for Ricky Spanish for this game ! Well, this game has been shorted. But this game can learn us how your basic tactical knowledges (fight, map, timing) is so important on CoH Series. Ricky Spanish (Brit Side) is a new player on CoH3 (~ 250 games). On my side, i manage WM (probably more of 2000 games on CoH Series games). Here, early game WM is the worst army, while Brit is the better. WM begins with -100 Manpower free units. Grenadier osculation frontline cost same manpower than UKF Riflemen, but Grenadier, alone, looses against Royal Engineer and UKF Riflemen. And 2 Pioneers cost more than Royal Engineer, for an equal fight. Your kettenkrad is unarmed, Mortar cannot be use early, Sniper have a really high cost, high built time and can be countered by Dingo (strong on early game because Grenadier have not PzFaust), and MG42 is a little bit worth than Vickers. So WM have nothing to win the early game. Grenadier can just deal men. And Kettenkrad can offer an axial long view to understands traps. Just for informations, FallschirmPioneer get +20% DPS than Grenadiers, and -20% hp, but distributed over 4 men (same life soldier than Pioneer) !! ... So What can we do ? ... The response comes on your abilities on basics. Specially on tactics (fight, map, management) !! When, Where, How !! ... First, i manage my side capture and i wait a possible teamwork for the first fight. Fix, and Turn around allowed. Second, i begin to be sure my opponent cannot travel on my side. Third, my number unit comes, i prepare a teamwork fight. This is th main objective, before reach tickets and resources. Fourth, i use cover and properties field to create a good fight (crossfire allowed, open fire on assault action, section covered themself ). Five, I use the power of teamwork. With enough units, you can deliver critical damage on the cocky movement guys. You can see the first main fight is static and during a long time. But, if you check well, i stay pretty active. Exchanges soldiers between Grenadier and FsPioneer, because he have FsPioneer have 95hp (and more accurate on shoots), while Grenadier have 80hp. And i check opponent's plan. So i change focus fire, to prevent bad issues, and punish "right click tactics". Six, the aera focused map is not a mistake. Exactly where i need to be. On the center position, i can cut opponent technologies options, and i can move faster and shorter everywhere. Seven, after wins, i am paying off (time to take flank, prepare the field and positions for the next counter attacks). Eight, when i am short in number, i manage the fight to gain time and make losen time for the opponent. I have not enough, no problem, i retreat and i come back with the good number who allowed the better tactics fight options. Nine, i keep strategy in my mind. Upgrade mines technologies, Keep in my mind possible opponent technologies, in function of his average fuel resources he can connect. Here, my opponent have not really take enough fuel. Possible Humber or Stuart is delayed by 2 mins. So Stummel first, not PaK40 immediatly, to prevent MG, and covered fight. Bingo !! Ten, my opponent cannot deliver enough DPS, ok ! I can travel out of cover to cut flank actions... So, to resume the issues of this short fight. I use all tactical's basics to reverse the unbalanced issue for the early game match up WM - Brit. CoH Series games stay a tactic and strategic games. Develops and Uses yours knowledges and yours experiences to success the victory !! This game feels like a Boot Camp which can help all sides.
