Salut Oziligath, et merci pour le partage du replay ! I go to write the next in English, for all others players (the balance "joke" in this message, the tips to increase your chance to make a good game in WM in the reply). 2 Top players of CoH3 (and CoH2 also), French Oziligath (WM side) and Spanish Jesulin (US side). Well, this game sums up the distress of WM players. The imbalance begin immediatly... Between 1:30 and 1:50 on the clock. First WM Grenadier meet first US Fusilier. Grenadier moves quiclky on the closest green cover wall (For opponent units => -50% accurancy ; - 50 damages). US Fusilier travels ~8s, out of cover, "right click mod", and take position closer of Grenadier, in yellow cover (For opponent units => -50% accurancy only) ... So, a mistake of Jesulin ??? ... Of course not !! US Fusilier win the battle !! 6 soldiers alive, with damages <=> 4 soldiers alive on the Grenadier, forced to "back up". The both unit cost same Manpower (260), and we build a Grenadier in 24s, while US Fusilier come in 21s... Pioneer + Grenadier "first" in WM BO ==>> Garbage !! Actually, the Grenadier cannot keep a frontline ... vs US, AND vs UKF too. That is not all. ~4 min and ~7 min on the clock. Oziligath try to rebalance this type of figth, with a grenade... LoL... The grenade of Grenadier DPS nothing ... a "moist sting" for the infinity life of Fusilier... "Well well well" ... it is not finish ... On WM side, you imagine your elite troup, like PzGrenadier can deal better the fight on the frontline ... Huhuhu the "joke". PzGrenadier (340 Manpowers ; Grenadier upgrade 260+160 = 420 Manpowers) ... You know what ? PzGrenadier have exactly the same efficiency of US Fusilier ... But PzGrenadier cannot have PzFaust, while US Fusilier can be upgrade with grenades/stickybombs. When BARS upgrade come on US Fusilier, PzGrenadier loose again against Fusilier, and can just prevent a rush when you activate special "buff" ... The "joke" continue ... ~10 min on the clock, Jesulin, like Oziligath, knows gameplay mechanics. The Greyhound arrive front of WM base, and see just PzGrenadier => No dangers ... let's go and let’s take some soldiers. Greyhound travels fast, and and it threatens all units of the WM ... while the WM can defend with a PaK40 (no mobility, poor radius, no dangers on infantry), and a Grenadier ... "Grenadier", i say that "faster", PanzerFaust have 20m range, Greyhound have 45m range => An high skilled player know that, and stay "far" while he wait the smoky crews of PaK40 ... ... ... Oziligath, resilient, try the StuG ... Another "joke" coming from Relic Dev :) ... StuG can be build with 160 Fuel (faster issue), Greyhound can be build with ... 115 Fuel (faster issure)... If you think that you have managed to hold half of the resources (Grenadier <=> Fusilier), your fuel income is +23... So, to resume, The Greyhound can just violate your army during 2min 30s, an eternity... and a Chaffee (US Counter Vehicule, for 60 Fuel) can arrive 15s after your StuG. StuG, fixed canon, which cannot be a danger without Vet (+25 fuel) on close combat vs infantry, which have already stickybomb to blow the engine... A flank attack by the Greyhound can finish the job ... if any Grenadier (not PzGrenadier, of course) stay close... And this game is an excellent example ... Oziligath cannot reach fuel with Grenadier frontline => Go with more infantry => Violate Greyhound => Go on PaK40 and StuG. But, PaK40 have "no mobility" => So Oziligath, WM side, have "no strategic choices" => Just stay grouped near the PaK40, while Jesulin, so rich, walks around the map like a dog in the meadow. StuG creat no danger on infantry and US Fusilier spot him and stays in his sight by making grimaces => boom call planes bombers ... Oziligath disoriented, stay polite "I DUNNO" ... Of course you dunno, Ozi, because it is "impossible" to play WM ... when your opponent knows all failure balance about WM - US match up... Now let's go on the reply for tips, in WM generally, and on Faymonville specially !!

Now, looks for tactics and talk about strategy !! The WMs are like a toolbox. With the wrong tools you get stuck. With the right tools, the machine starts. In WM, to be able to use the tools, you need time. This is the first strategic lesson in WM. Your "fuel income" is not the objective. The goal is to create an "early game" long, so that you can use all the tools of the WM (vet, mortar, sniper) before the transition. The objective is to reduce the "fuel income" of the allied army, and to avoid that it uses its strategic superiority in number (US Fusilier), being forced to manufacture something else (Jeep, Mortar)... Forget about Pioneer + Grenadier, first. = > Use Kettenkrad + MG42. The Kettenkrad doesn’t really take resource points at the start. She scoots the US plans and its movements. And the MG42 goes on "aggressive" and force the "back up" of a unit on one side (jump and violate, no point taken). With the special view of the KettenKrad, you know immediately if the first "US fuel hand" is defenseless... Enjoy, neutralized immediately, while your Pioneer begins to collect. The result => US side is no longer on one side, and 1 out of 3 units are forced to come back to take their first point. Second unit (Jeep spotted => Grenadier, Fusilier => second MG42 to trap). Now, US income fuel remains at +13 (not +23), and the US side feels the need to call on a Mortar, or a second scout (MG42 problems). So, less US Fusilier. The US player will put the package on 1 Fuel center point to try to find fuel. It’s time to call Grenadier (x2) to reinforce the combat zone, MG42 and Grenadier protects itself, and avoids the mortars, maintaining the "poor income fuel US". The side left weak => Pit, with MG42 or Grenadier, very powerful, and wasting time, letting reinforcements arrive. Pioneer => Flamethrower upgrade => Very very powerfull to DPS infinity life of infantry and rebalance a fight. If you have succeeded, T1 Vet 1, Mortier + Sniper. The US player will understand that the game is no longer normal, and that you are a very serious opponent... Between 8 and 10 minutes on the clock => T3 + "8 Rad" call + PaK40 + T3 vet. "8 Rad" is a vehicule who can finish an opponent vehicule, forced to create Grenades upgrade, Boys, Bazooka, ATGun (if US not do that, "8 Rad" punish severely "dares options" mistake and get you advantages). "8 Rad" vet give the view for tacticals decisions (commander abilities), efficiency for PaK40, taken positions far away of the fights. PaK40 => 10 minutes poor income fuel, Allied can make a heavy vehicule => Needed to damage and punish aggressive movements (or with PanzerFaust Grenadier) => Finish with "8 Rad" to prevent an incoming "snow ball vehicule"... No mercy !! If vehicule come, +1 PaK40 by vehicule seen. If no vehicule come, Allied keep his fuel and manpower for late Tanks => You have time to add an elite infantry (PzGrenadier). 14-15Minutes on the clocks. Look at your fuel. 170-200 => T4 => Panzer IV (or Brummbar if opponent love too much elite troop). If you have been forced to lets half side opponent fuel, build a second PaK40 for the first opponent Tank, and prefers Panthers for a Tank choice... Final combined army : Pioneer (Flamethrower) + MG42 (x1-x2) + Grenadiers (x2-x3) + Mortar + Sniper + PaK40 (x1-x3) + "8 Rad" (x1) + PzGrenadier (x1-x2) + Tank choice (x1-x2). Tank choice must be build later than possible, because that decrease severely your "Manpower income". But carefull, too late can let pass the victory ... Choice properly the timing, with your feeling on the battlefield. When you re here (T4 action) do not forget commanders abilities, and T4 vet... All this things, for Oziligath, and all others players can allow victories with WM side. It is "tough", it is "hard", you are not allow for mistakes ... But you can manage you destiny on the field and reach the victory !!

Yeah that's rough, I've been having a tough time on Faymonville in general against USF.

Going anything but 8rad against a good player is suicide. You have to play t3, 3x gren vet 1 into pak and 8rads. Nothing, and i mean NOTHING else works.
