Hello Guys, and Thanks you Thanks you for this exchange, Ozi and Rei !! Well, here, you got a high level game, with very good mechanics on both side. Ozi is little bit hard with him, in his title. I prefer replace it by "How not to win with WM against Brit" !!! So, look for tactics and strategies !! First, the early game. Not really needed to talk about something. Brit makes British Australian tactics, ambitious on the field, but well felt ! WM call MG first (probably to secure the north)... Losen causes, but not critical. MG gonna be down because of an unsafe "back up", annoying. Second, the middle game, the moment where the victory choose his side. Rei drives Brit well. His strategy is good, nothing talk about that. But, in same time, Ozi drives WM in the bad way. Subtlety of 1v1 CoH3, Flak and PaK are forbidden (static strategy, not allowed in 1v1), and Scout Car 221 is ... a scout car, not an AT counter mesure. Reakly shows abilities of 221, but this is not the good way, and a very good player gonna punish you, if you try this. So, in replacement of 221 and Flak, Ozi WM needed 2 Jager, upgraded with PzSchreck. In second time, Ozi need to call Stummel/Stobtruppen, but x2 was needed !! Face to this combined army, British Army cannot keep the field. WM Map control gonna come, and heavy damage for Brit too. After that, because of very far point of tiger, WM need to build T4, and PanzerIV to clean the flank, waiting the Tiger to close an easy game. To resume, Oziligath loose the control of this game on the strategy, not on their skills : couple of Jager PzSchreck needed to control all type of opponent vehicule, more AoE damage and strong number infantries needed (Strobtruppen), and exclude static units and poor efficiency choice (too high cost to learn T2 upgrade, Wirbelwind, Marder, for a poor efficiency). To finish, i wanted to come back on my analysis of WM. WM stays an underdog army on the early game. You just need to create an issue to get the frontline on the middle of the map (not on your side). So +2 WM_Engineer first is a better choice than MG first (you come faster on the middle of the map), before 3 Grenadiers. But, WM is probably the better strong army of the middle game. Both Jager PzSchreck against vehicules, and Both call Stummel/Stobtruppen (or StuG42/Strobtruppen, the better efficient choice) create an impossible issue for allied side. Resources and Tickets in the pocket, the late game come with some easy issue. Panther call is the faster and easier issue. But T4 PanzerIV, in waiting the far Tiger, makes the job too !!!
