Hello Guys, and Thanks you DexN and Rei for this exchange. Langres, old map CoH, i think, but i discover this version on CoH3. Well, traditionally, we will find the classic match up US WM, here. But this game gonna be very interesting, far of standards. First, the map !! I admit to having taken a break of several minutes to understand it ! A classic relic thing, the map is clearly not equilibrate. South side can have an advantage on fuel, North Side on ammunitions. All the ingredients are present to generate legend games here ! Also, this map is really large for a 1v1. Second, the early game ! The surprises do not take a long time to arrive. US Side, Rei, worried about the WM meta, with MG (not really efficient but really annoying to treat) prefer a scout infantry front line (to see and smoke). 1, 2, 3, 4 US Scout. Low cost, large map, i understand Rei here. WM Side, DexN, knows his army. WM early game is poor, and must be install a middle front to hope resources. 1, 2, 3, 4 WM Engineers. Yes Yes Yes, this is a good call !! But DexN is DexN. He likes MG42 on his pool. Here the surprise come. WM Paratroopers doc for a 1v1, no Grenadiers to counter easely US Scout. Ok, this game gonna be crazy. DexN is on the breach, no counter vehicules M3 !! Third, middle game !! DexN is a lucky boy. Rei choose T3 support. But DexN iis not suicidal. His frontline need PzFaust minimum. Welcome Elite paratroopers (very high cost) to build late his frontline. No mercy here, high skills level players maneuvers !!! Far of standard, Rei begins to understand. This is an infantry WM game version. But Rei knows perfectly the game. WM paratroopers is efficient (powered), but WM paratroopers cost too much, are not powered as Stobtruppen, and are not strong like Stobtruppen. Immediatly, Rei build and upgrade his US Riflemen. DexN give his maximum, but the fight is unfair !!! Fourth, late game. Rei, with this combined, is like a fish inside the sea. So many game plays like this, Rei is confident ... too confident. Like DexN on the middle game, Rei have forgotten a strategic key of the middle game, the crushed opponent Manpower strategy inside his combined army. US Riflemen is too light, and the time game has travelled. WM Para Doc have reduced reinforcing manpower now. Elite Paratroopers becames efficient to use. Rei do not understand the danger, and continues to play "Fun", sure about his victory. Rei looses time with the Greyhound and creates himself difficulties with Both AT Gun. On opposite, DexN are fighting. His way makes a really really hard game. DexN is not on "fun", he is serious. DexN wants to exclude of the map Rei with Stukas to take the control of Stars, and repulses his infantry damage. WM_Paratroopers, no choice, DexN thinks about snow ball effect of 3 Panzer IV. Out of the center map, US AT Gun has been flanked and destroyed, because of forced retreat movements on Stuka actions. Alone, PanzerIV is useless, but 3 PanzerIV upgraded together do not sing the same music. Hidden and disorganized by the retreat, DexN tooks the opportunity of the Rei's trouble. Push push push on Rei US Main base, to kill the last wall (Sherman Easy 8), Rei cannot give a response ... Game Over !! GG DexN, experienced and tactics master !!! So, to resume this game, we can learn theses things. It is dangerous to follow and stay far of standards. DexN would be fall down very soon on this game, not really inspired on his strategics choices. But Rei lets DexN alive and neglicted the experience of DexN. At this level, if DexN is not a strategic master. Sure about that, DexN is a mechanics and tactics master on Strategic Real Time Games, Of Course. Rei has given DexN the opportunity to express his talent for too long. When your opponent fails, you always must make the final cut, without waiting. If not, the victory windows can be close ! I appreciate this game. Really insteresting on many things about strategies, tactics etc... Thanks you again about Rei and DexN for this excellent game. We need to see it.
