Salut Salut Oziligath !! Et merci pour cette échange. It was an interesting game. On US side, Oziligath, who is excellent on the managment of combined armies, and who love play with a large frontline. On WM Side, Treadz, a wild player, who love the T3 WM "all in". The game evolved according to each person’s strengths and weaknesses. For Oziligath, his love of the broad front lines put his "multitasking" skills to a test, and played him a bad trick when he crosses over into Treadz’s style type (grouped forces). So, past the US timing vehicle, where the WM needs ATGun with the T3, Treadz has taken over in the game with a lot of PzGrenadier. However, Oziligath reacted well with the call of a MG to avoid drinking the cup, permanently. And then, fortunately for Oziligath, Treadz’s weaknesses appeared. Treadz has shown that he does not know well the capabilities of his army, and that he is not very good in tactics (bad management of the combined army). Indeed, the LG40 is a good weapon against "light vehicle & light tank". But, these piercing abilities make it "useless" against Tanks (only 20-25% chance to break through armor). So when the Sherman 105 came to stop the PzGrenadiers, LG40 (x3) was useless. However, the StuG offered a good counter. But the StuG does not have hp and sufficient armor to withstand against ATGun, and can not bypass them either (fixed gun). It is the moment of the game that decided the victory. Treadz should have found the US ATGun with a Kettengrad and targeted them with the Nebelwerfer, before attacking the Sherman 105. Similarly, the powerful MG42 on the roof of StuG is much more effective than the "burst fire" (risky, exposing the StuG in close combat). To sum up, StuG did not do any damage on the infantry, and could not do any damage on the Sherman 105. The WM army has crumbled => Map control comes for Oziligath => "GG WP" time!!
